Comment policy
Updated 22 October 2026
Pirate Face comments are for useful discussion about AI models: running them, comparing results, asking questions and sharing reproducible examples.
Keep discussion useful
Criticism of models, benchmarks and technical claims is welcome. Explain what you tested. Disagreement is fine; personal attacks are not.
Content that can be removed
Spam, repeated advertising, scams, phishing, impersonation, harassment, threats, private information and unlawful content can be removed. Repeated abuse can lead to restricted commenting access.
Links and moderation
Links are not allowed in comment subjects, messages or replies. Posts containing recognizable web addresses are rejected rather than held for review. Mention the model, tool or source by name instead. Existing moderation and reporting rules still apply.
Reports and restrictions
Signed-in users can report comments. Reports and reporter identities are private to moderators. Reports enter the admin review queue and do not automatically hide a comment. Moderators can approve or remove comments, dismiss reports and restrict or restore an account's commenting access. Reasons and actions are logged.
Deleting comments and account history
Authors can delete their own published or pending comments from the discussion or their comment history. Deletion clears the stored comment text; a placeholder can remain to preserve replies. Moderator removal hides text publicly but retains it privately for review. Public comments appear in account history. Reports and moderation records remain private. Previously shared copies and database backups may persist.
